Baby Tank

Presentation

An underpowered character used as a tank by giving him Axel patronage and pairing him with Aidan. It causes the character to tank direct attacks very well, and he ults repeatedly.

How does it work?

• Let's say the tank has 50k hp, and Aidan 500k hp, so they now share a common hp pool of 550k

• Axel prevents the tank to suffer any hit greater than 45% of his own health, so any attack against him will be capped at 22500 damage!

• This does not apply to attacks against Aidan himself though, so beware

• Nexters confirmed it works as intended: it is not a bug

Who can do that?

• Any character patronable by Axel. It is naturally better for the character to have a health pool as low as possible, so preferably no gear, single star and low-level.

• Baby Julius is the most popular hero for this role because of his team shield, whose base strength depends mostly on his level

• Baby Alvanor is another contender because of his barrier against basic attacks

• And any hero patronable by Axel may be useful against front attackers such as Ishmael or Lara. Even if gray and level one: the more fragile, the better

Making the baby powerful

• Artifacts, skins and glyphs can be used to make the character reasonably powerful

• Nebula can be further used to greatly strengthen the magic or physical attack of the baby

• The more health the baby has, the more vulnerable he becomes to direct hits though, so beware!
