Totems (Elemental Spirits)

Presentation

Totems, also called elemental spirits, are the core of the power of every titan team. I do not know a single team with an insignificant totem that can beat opponents with a maxed one.

Obtaining totem fragments

Earth Spirit Totem

There are two major sources:

While the altar easily grants you your first fragment, and a second one with more effort, beyond that you will need a lot of time and luck, or money.

Invasions are by far the cheapest way to reliably purchase totems.

Fusion

You can semi-permanently add two more abilities to your totem: an elemental and a primal skill

Activation

Totems trigger once they reach 3,000 energy. They gains the same amount of energy as titans of the same element.

  • 200 when the titan makes a basic attack

  • 200 when the titan triggers a periodic skill (supertitans or summoners)

  • 300 when the titan kills an enemy

  • 5 energy when the titan loses 1% of his health

Note that heroes gain twice more energy for the damage they receive, but half for basic attacks and periodic skill.

The consequence is that the more titans of this element you have, the faster the totem activates. This is why summoners accelerate the activation.

Overcharging

Totem Overcharging

Once you get enough energy, the totem keeps accumulating it, making its activation more powerful.

The exact usage depends on the elements you are using and facing, but for example it is often used with fire: by letting the totem charge a bit, you can ensure everyone will be one-shot, without having to wait for a second activation.
