The Pant-ocalypse
Introduction
Recently a terrible event has struck Hero Wars: the Pant-ocalypse.
Indeed, our dear Valkyries suddenly got their skirts replaced with pants, making them unrecognizable. The game is now totally unplayable, 0/10.

This move was decided to comply with Chinese censorship, which forbids macabre elements such as skulls, or alluring clothes and characters.
In most places Nexters have created two different visuals, and you will never see the new files unless you live in China. Even if you switch your language to Chinese.
But in a few circumstances they decided to simply replace the old visuals, either to reduce development costs (the valkyries and campaign maps probably belong to this category), or to harmonize versions (the skull coins becoming armor coins for example - probably).
I list in this article the most striking of those changes and differences.
The Not-so-new Pet (regional variants)
In the midst of this humongous chaos, distraught and anxious players around the world found solace in what they believed to be - at last! - a new pet after all those years. Yet, adding insult to injury, they soon discovered it was only a vulgar reskin of Vex, like salt poured over their fresh wounds. We so much wanted to believe it!
