Emerald Value
Emerald Value
The arbitrary value Nexters assign to every item. They use it to caliber event rewards and the prices of bundles and tickets.
However Nexters use this value inconsistently: the official emerald value of tickets, for example, is largely a marketing fiction only loosely related to the sum of the components of the ticket.
Therefore there is no objective means to determine this value. Dataminers like myself tend to agree most of the time, but there are divergences for some items, based on the source we picked as a reference.
Also this emerald value does not necessarily reflect actual rarity and usage value. Consdider chaos particles for example: they are easy to get by once you can farm adventure 13, so they seem way overpriced to many players.
Dollar Value
The emerald to dollar conversion is just as inconsistent, and only loosely related to the emerald value of what you purchase. The discount levels on bundles and tickets are therefore just as arbitrary.
A few examples:
Tickets: 7k to 12k ems/$
Bundles: 90 to 240 ems/$ (if you believe discount), 5x to 10x otherwise
Direct purchase: 116 ems/$ for the 1.89$ emerald pack, 144 emeralds/dollar for the 94$ one (both a vip0)
I picked 1500 ems/$ to ease the comparison between bundles
Usual Value
A tweak of the official value. It created it to take into account some possibly cheaper or more convenient item sources.
Here are some examples:
gift of dominion are almost always more expensive than the sum of their individual items, bougth from secret wealth or rarity fair
hero resource chests and titan resource chests are now very good sources for several staple items
